Figure Drawing DVDs

Drawing Secrets Revealed: Figure Basics and Figures Step-by-Step is a two-part Video Download set extending what I address in my book, Drawing Secrets Revealed: Basics and in my successful 12-lesson video drawing series, described here, focusing entirely on drawing the human figure with demonstrations from start to finish.

In Video 1, Figure Basics, I address concepts such as the proportions and guidelines of the human body, gesture drawing to capture the core movement of your figure, values and elements of lighting, and how to render the volume of the figure. Exercises and demonstrations give you a chance to practice these techniques.

In Video 2, Figures Step-by-Step, I incorporate everything I taught in Video 1 in a full step-by-step figure drawing demonstration so you can see how everything you learned in Video 1 comes together.

I recommend purchasing my drawing book, Drawing Secrets Revealed: Basics, for broader instruction on drawing more than just figures, or my online video course, Drawing Secrets Revealed, for even more in-depth instruction, but I guarantee you that if you diligently practice the concepts I teach in these videos, you will find your figure drawings better placed on your paper, more fluid, well-shaded, and overall improved.

I make this claim because these videos, like my book and my own online video course, are based on my belief that learning to draw is about learning to SEE. So my goal is always to teach you how to observe so that when you practice, you're reinforcing solid drawing habits.

If you're drawn to the human figure, as so many artists are, I believe these videos will be a terrific investment. Don't wait! Take that next step now to be the artist you always dreamed of being!
